Quepos La Managua Airport (IATA: XQP, ICAO: MRQP) is an airport located approximately 5 km (3.1 mi) east of Quepos, Costa Rica, serving this city as well as the Manuel Antonio National Park and other tourist attractions in the central part of Puntarenas Province. The airport receives its name after the barrio La Managua, where the airport is located.

La Managua airport is one of the most important airports in Costa Rica, the fourth-busiest in the country by passenger traffic and the second-busiest domestic-only airport after Puerto Jiménez Airport. The airport is owned and managed by the country's Directorate General of Civil Aviation.

Manuel Antonio National Park
Quepos is well known for its proximity to Manuel Antonio National Park, which has four beaches, 4.7 miles (7.6 km) of hiking trails, and much wildlife.

Fishing
Fishing is the second-most popular activity in Quepos behind the national park, and there are over 100 different sport fishing boats available to anglers.

White Water Rafting
Another popular activity in Quepos is white water rafting. From December to April, it is a leisurely trip on a raft through the mountains in pristine rivers. From May to November, Quepos has several tours which go through stage III to stage V rapids.
